  1. You feel that none of these people are likely to leave their chips uneaten and sitting on the railing :-)

Despite the modern trimmings there is something timeless about this.

  2. Not an overly happy gathering, they are there to eat and nothing else. I do like the inquisitive look of the lady in the doorway.

  3. A lot of things to keep me looking here for awhile. I like all the faces shown and the window reflections. Very nice tonally as well.

Apparently there was nothing red in his scene? It seems like nearly all the photos are black and white since Stills moved to this format. Did I miss the memo? ;-)

  4. No memo Christine! More red next time? The horse mart, largely held indoors, needed b/w: this one could have stayed in colour but I kept in tune with the remainder.

  5. Lots of strong horizontal elements here, so many that I want to crop a bit off the top and bottom to accentuate them.

  6. I am struck by the bilingual signage (in Lampeter :-)) but it is the human expressions that make the day.

  7. Given the expressions it doesn’t give the shop a good recommendation. But given the attire I’m sure this is more a view on the summer weather than the quality of potato. The cars keep the viewer focussed on the centre as if they’re on a firing line.
