  1. If the cleaner’s face was in that shaft of light I’d accuse you of having set this up!

    As is, it is a very well observed and dynamic picture. I bet that that sculpture doesn’t often get pictured this interestingly.

  2. She might not be in the shaft of light but she is strategically positioned and paying attention! She sits at the focus of the shaft of light and the handrail. The image ‘hangs’ together well and I’ve noticed the guy in the alto relief is actually looking at her too.

  5. Without the lead-in from the shaft of light, she’d be lost in the shadows. Works well as a result.
