  2. the title conjured up images of a stilleto crushing an iphone. A narrow slice showing the full depth of the situation, people dancing on stage, at least one watching.
    The out of focus sparkle on the skirts fights for attention with the infocus phone. Very few experience the actual event anymore, we are usually stuck behind something experiencing life through an LCD.

  3. This works for me for two reasons. Firstly, it combines so many cultures together and, second, the way the the way the trees are rendered in the background is very effective – and make their own input to the cultural mix. I’m not sure any of that would come across if we hadn’t been taken via the window of the less-than-magic smart phone.
