  2. That’s priceless, John. You caught the perfect moment. Made my day.

  3. What a determined stride the young lady has – and the little lad struggling to keep up. Who knows where this leads, but you’ve caught the moment and injected humour yet again. Really well done John. On form work.

  4. What was that old film (treasure of Sierra Madre?) where at a certain time of day and year a shaft of light would pick out a slot canyon where the treasure could be found. At the elusive moment they had to gallop towards it before the beacon of light disappeared.

Forgive the description, it’s a dim distant memory, the way marker might have been a shadow, but whatever, this image reminded me of the film and helped suggest to me that the way marker was a shaft of light rather than a shadow.

  5. well timed, quick camera work. The slice of light accentuates the children well.

  6. The humour appealed to me and as Robert says that shaft of light is compositional magic.
