2nd Hour of Many

2 hours in and my usual riding partner is still happy. He finished in 10h40m, I was an hour later. At this point we had not hit really hit any of the 4500m of ascent.

  1. For me – and I’ve got quite a large screen – this picture spills out top and bottom and also to the side. For as long we cannot switch off the ‘categories’ panel on the right, I think it is best if we keep to 840 on the horizontal.

It is splendid that your partner can muster a smile like this at this stage of a ride!! There is useful sort of minor lack of sharpness that gives some feeling of grit that matches the situation you are both in.

    • 840, got it.
The series I hope to eventually put together will be called From The Saddle, possibly not the sharpest set of pictures :o)

  2. I’d simply ask the question “When did you last see a jogger smiling like that”?

  3. The feeling of enjoyment and fun comes across really well, this would make a good ad for cycling! I agree with Chris’ comment, joggers always grunt at me if I say hello when on my bike.
Chris has posted, elsewhere, images from his bike and from memory some of them are a bit blurred! :-)
