  1. Not a street shot by its definition as candid but has all the feel for place and the idiosyncracy involved. The gesture of the hand almost assumes a life of its own and is a great complement to the crowned head. His expression matches the occasion and the direction of gaze works better than if he had been looking at the camera. Finally the b/w is pitched just right. Very enjoyable.

  3. This is an amusing shot and somehow I feel this chap might not want his mates to see this! I didn’t see the possibility of the hand being separate until it was mentioned.
    I guess the B&W removes any background distraction due to colour. Good’un

  4. It certainly brought smile to my face. I have a picture of the character derived from expression, positioning, dress and gesture. Of course it could be wrong, but it’s fun. Nice one.
