My Father, an avid angler, but these days not during the depths of winter, enjoying some Beamish chips that have been fried in beef dripping. Unfortunately they only fry fish on a weekend, during the winter months.
Another great portrait. Again, the smile makes the image – obvious delight with his chips! It makes for an intimate image too, grabbed across the table.
This is a magnificent shot – I’m not sure I’d want the chips in beef dripping but perhaps winter justifies them! I like the way the exposure allows him to be well isolated and yet one has a feel for the depth of the room. The mug is a nice touch – is that the one for taking out angling?!!
