I’m enjoying the absence of scale……I’m presuming it’s a sandy detail from the beach, but it also makes me think of satellite view in google maps of the coast….which I sometimes use to identify good places to walk. On Flickr I have made a collection of photos of soil creep – this could almost qualify

  2. A bit like the structure of the rocks in the cliffs round here! Very well observed and pretty well as completely abstract as a photo can get, although one can pick out the sand as Judith says but otherwise it is necessary to guess what one is looking at. The shapes and the defining thicker curved line would make for a print that could grace any wall.

  4. Such a clever shot. There is no real sense of scale and, even though I think it’s wind blown sand, I can’t be sure how big the feature is. Very nicely done. I hope that it will make its way to paper.
