  1. On a technical point, ISO 5000 is pretty impressive. It also looks like that camera has a quiet shutter. :-)

  3. Following on from Chirs, to adapt Dud and Pete – I wouldn’t be allowed to take it! It is amazing what cameras can do nowadays in low light.

  4. Until I got this (secondhand) camera, which only records luminance, I didn’t think that high iso was all that important. Clearly I’ve lagged behind the rest of the picture taking community. Now I can get f4 and 1/60th indoors if it’s light and 1/30 at 2.8 when it’s not. Shutter isn’t as quiet as it should be, but it’s probably less obtrusive than I imagine.

    Sue has an almost universal dislike of her image, but I have the opposite view. I’m sure that’s fairly common, but I try not to test her good nature too far:)
