  1. The smile says it all. :-) An excellent family moment. What is the toning? It suits the subject well. Even though you wife’s back is a big part of the image it adds suspense and the sense of there being something special down there.
This was a family memory for my speech at my Daughter’s wedding.

    Reasons we want a Girble
    1 Because we haven’t got a pet
2 For something to look after
    3 For my Brownie badge
    What we will do
1 Pay for all the things
2 Make sure it doesn’t escape
    3 Pay for its food
    4 Clean out its cage

    We didn’t have a girble or a gerbil…………………..

  2. Naomi has wanted a Gerbil, or other rat, for something like 2 years and we promised that she could have one (or two!) when we moved home after building. Meanwhile she patiently looked after the fish.

She has been great with the Gerbils so far, cleaning, feeding and caring for them very nicely. They’ve gained the confidence to sit in her hands and be carried around by her. We haven’t tried to get her to pay for the upkeep yet!

The toning is Lightroom’s ‘Creamtone’ settings, but ignoring all the non saturation elements and just using the colouration.
